ORLANDO, Fla. – (Sept. 6, 2022) – Surf Expo, the premier watersports and coastal lifestyle tradeshow, brought to life the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando with an exciting roster of brands, retail buyers, educational opportunities, and new events.
This year a keynote address by Shaun Tomson, a world champion surfer, author, entrepreneur, and acclaimed speaker, is one of the main events with this very special guest.
Tomson discussed “Transformation After Disruption – The Code to Ride the Next Wave”. The topic is inspired by his new book with international poet-philosopher Noah ben Shea entitled “The Surfer and the Sage: A Guide to Survive & Ride Life’s Waves.”
Shaun has spoken to tens of thousands of people at public events and at companies as diverse as Google, Disney International, General Motors, Cisco, Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC), Patagonia Inc., universities, prisons, and more.

Over 600 exhibitors participated, including 165 that are new to the September show. Retail buyers from a wide range of key accounts will also be out in force including Dillard’s Department Stores, Hawaiian Island Creations, Hi-Tech Surf Sports, Palmetto Moon, Ritz Carlton Properties, Sandals Resorts International, Sun Diego, The House, Tyler’s, Zumiez and many more.
Attendees should also mark their calendars for some key events including a keynote address by Shaun Tomson at 8 a.m. Friday. Tomson, a world champion surfer, author, entrepreneur and acclaimed speaker, will discuss “Transformation After Disruption – The Code to Ride the Next Wave.”
