Seaworld/ Busch Gardens released the following statement:

“Precautions are in place following the park’s comprehensive weather preparedness plan to ensure the safety of our animals and ambassadors during this time. We will continue to monitor the storm and guests are encouraged to check back here and follow our social media channels for updates. Stay tuned for more updates regarding park reopening.”

Busch Gardens Tampa will be closed on Thursday, September 26. Normal operations will resume on Friday, September 27.

Adventure Island will be closed on Thursday, September 26. Normal operations will resume on Friday, September 27.

SeaWorld Orlando (updated at 2pm): SeaWorld Orlando will close at 2:00PM on Thursday, September 26. Normal operations will resume on Friday, September 27.

Aquatica Orlando will be closed on Thursday, September 26. Normal operations will resume on Friday, September 27.

All date-intended tickets for closure days have been extended through September 30, 2024 and requires no action to be taken.

Discovery Cove will be closed on Thursday, September 26. Normal operations will resume on Friday, September 27. 

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is OPEN. Park operations and hours are continuing as normal.

Universal Orlando

Due to Hurricane Helene, Universal Orlando Resort is making the following operational changes for Thursday, Sept. 26:

• Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is canceled.
• Universal Volcano Bay is closed.
• Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure will close at their regularly scheduled times – with Universal Studios closing at 5 p.m. and Islands of Adventure closing at 8 p.m.
• Universal CityWalk will close early at 8 p.m.
• Hotels remain operational as they focus on taking care of guests.

Universal Orlando anticipates a full reopening of our resort including Halloween Horror Nights on Friday, Sept. 27.

Walt Disney World

As of the latest update on September 25, at 4pm Disney announced that

Walt Disney World Resort is currently operating under normal conditions; however, some experiences will be cancelled or unavailable on September 26. See details below.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is cancelled Thursday, Seot 26. Guest tickets will be refunded.

Miniature Golf

Miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World Resort are temporarily closed on Thursday, September 26. These include:,

• Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf
• Winter Summerland Miniature Golf

Pools at Disney Resort Hotels

Pools at Disney Resort hotels will continue to operate or close under normal conditions.

Walt Disney World Water Parks

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is temporarily closed on Thursday, September 26 (Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season).

Beachcomber Shack (cabanas) and Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella rentals are cancelled for Thursday, September 26.
