Park Closure Updates Due to Hurricane Helene

BUSCH GARDENS WILL BE CLOSED

After reviewing the latest route of Hurricane Helene and to ensure the safety of our ambassadors, guests, and animals, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024. All date-intended tickets for Sept. 26 have been extended through Monday, Sept. 30, 2024.

Guests are encouraged to check our website and follow our social media channels for updates on park reopening.

Universal Orlando:

Due to the threat of Hurricane Helene, Universal Orlando has announced operational changes for the resort.

Volcano Bay will be closed on Thursday, Sept 26, and anticipates the water park will reopen on Friday, Sept 27. The rest of the Resort, as well as Halloween Horror Nights, will continue operations and hours as normal at this time. Universal is monitoring the hurricane’s track and will update if necessary.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, originally scheduled for September 26, 2024, has been canceled, and guests will receive refunds. Additionally, Typhoon Lagoon and all miniature golf courses will be closed for the entire day. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the following Enchanting Extras Collection experiences are also canceled: Savor the Savanna, Up Close with Rhinos, Walking with Giants, and Wild Africa Trek. To accommodate guests, Magic Kingdom’s operating hours have been extended until 8 pm on September 26.
