We had the chance to explore the media prevew of Busch Gardens Food Festival and enjoy an array of food , wine, beer and beverages samples. The weather was beautiful for the occasion where Busch Gardens inaugurated the food kioks with music , live trees characters and a wide variety of wine samples, craft beers and much more!
There is certainly something for every taste bud young or old. Personal favorites of this festival included some of these:
- Grilled Cheesecake- Its a glorified dessert version of a grilled cheese but this time it has cheesecake between two bread slices toped off with blueberry sauce! Yummy is a big portion so is worth sharing
- Pierogis- this Polish delight is amazing! it has cheese and potato inside a empanada shaped dumpling, is delicious, filling and satisfying
- Imposible meat sliders!- this is a great vegetarian and vegan option, the imposible meat is amazing , tastes really good and it comes accompanied by guacamole on a burger bun.
- Elotes- at the Tex-Mex kiosk we loved this Mexican seasoned corn with cilantro and peppers.
- Crab cake- although the portion is small, the taste was delicious and it went well with a craft beer .
- Fish Tacos- is a breaded and fried fish tender inside a soft tortilla with sour cream , lettuce and cheese. It was good size portion and a chunky piece of breaded fried fish.
- Almost every craft beer , frozen drink and wine offering!!!!
